Recycling

One of the things that we launched was a school-wide recycling program.  A small band of teachers started participating and it grew into something larger.  Over time, we hope to expand the recycling program in the following areas:

1. Getting teachers and students to reduce consumption.  For example, it's great that we got so many bottles of water, but do we need that?  Couldn't we use drink fountains or refillable bottles instead?
2. Getting recycle bins in each classroom.  If you work for the City of Phoenix, please tell them to answer our phone calls.
3. More recycling in other areas.  In other words, we want to have places for cans and other items as well.
